About Jerry Biller II

A Life Forged by Athletics and Service

Jerry Biller II's life story is one of resilience, service, and unwavering commitment to lifting others up. Shaped by the fundamental lessons learned through athletics and his father's guidance, Jerry has built a foundation of values that carried him through military deployments, business ventures, and now drives his mission to transform young lives through sports.

"Athletics and my Dad taught me to not give up," Jerry reflects on his formative years. These weren't just words to him—they became a blueprint for living. "It taught me when I get knocked down to get back up. When I get punched I need a better plan next time I need to practice more. Not to quit or give up."

The playing field became Jerry's first classroom in empathy and leadership. He learned that strength isn't just physical—it's about recognizing that "not everyone is as strong as another, support the ones that need a lift, need a boost, need support or need some help." This understanding of shared humanity would prove invaluable throughout his life journey.

Jerry carried these athletic lessons into his military service, where they guided him through challenging missions and deployments. The same principles that taught him to bounce back from defeat on the field helped him navigate the complexities of military life and service to country. "I used these values instilled in me to make it through life. Through military missions and deployments. Life after and in business and my daily life."

As Jerry transitioned from military service to civilian life and business, he discovered that the lessons remained constant. The discipline, teamwork, and perseverance learned through sports continued to serve as his compass. "I now apply it to life," he says simply, but within that statement lies decades of experience putting these values into practice.

However, Jerry's journey of self-discovery led to a profound realization about his life's purpose. "So I just realized my goal is incomplete, my mission doesn't have an outcome. I want to do all these things but why, why does it matter, how will the world be a better place because of my efforts and my foundation."

This moment of clarity sparked what would become The Biller Foundation's core philosophy. Jerry understood that his impact didn't need to be massive to be meaningful. "Just a little better is better. Making a difference in a child's life means everything. What if that child I make a difference in can then make a difference in 10 children's lives. Now I am making a bigger difference."

The Mission: Building Character Through Athletics

Jerry's mission crystallized around a simple but powerful concept: using athletics to teach life lessons that extend far beyond the playing field. His vision focuses on instilling values that children can carry forward to help others throughout their lives.

Central to this mission is Jerry's passionate stance against bullying. "I hate bullies," he states unequivocally. "I want kids to take that leadership and step in, show the world that bullying is wrong and protect those kids being bullied. Make this place a better place for everyone."

Through The Biller Foundation, Jerry seeks to develop young leaders who understand that their athletic training gives them not just physical strength, but moral responsibility. He wants to create athletes who see their role as protectors and supporters of those who need help.

The foundation emphasizes both team and individual sports, recognizing that each teaches valuable lessons in respect and humility. Jerry believes that whether competing individually or as part of a team, young athletes learn fundamental principles of cooperation, perseverance, and mutual support that shape their character for life.

Jerry's mission is ultimately about multiplication—creating a ripple effect where each young person touched by the foundation's work goes on to positively impact others. It's a vision rooted in the same values his father and athletics taught him: never give up, help others rise, and always get back up when knocked down.
